HOW IT ALL STARTED
I bought my own first DSLR camera in 2010. Honestly, my camera had a permanent spot next to my bed. I wanted to know everything about the camera and often watched tutorials until the early hours of the morning. We were great buddies. I took her everywhere. Until friends and family started asking, when inviting me to events, if I could also bring my camera.
When a friend of ours was getting married, he asked... there it is: "Could you also bring your camera?" He wanted me to take a few pictures of the wedding. Of course, I wanted to do that and decided to approach it in a professional way. So, I bought a better camera and an additional lens.
There I was! From 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. (a total of 16 hours), I photographed everything and immediately made a slideshow of the day that everyone could see on the screens during dinner. The compliments I received gave me so much energy! I was already enthusiastic all day, and this was proof that I wanted to do this more often.
I LOVE WHAT I DO
I will be honest with you.
I actually had the ambition to photograph people in war zones. Don't be scared right away! For me it's about telling stories, capturing the purity of situations, nothing staged. Photos that evoke emotions.
It's just a completely different situation and environment than weddings. And for my own well-being and mental health, I think photographing weddings is a lot more fun ;)
And I'm loving it!

SO MUCH more than your regular PHOTOGRAPHER
Beyond shooting, I treat you likemy own family. By that I don't mean the family I only see at parties, but really that nice family with whom I plan days out. I'm that photographer who calms you down when you're in a panic or protects you from the meddling family members (we'll have to come up with some secret gesture signals for that).

Do you feel a little uncomfortable in front of the camera, not sure where to look or where to put your hands? Don't worry, that's completely normal! The most beautiful photos are often the casual moments that tell a story and show all your emotions.
But don't worry, I'm here to put you at ease. My job is to take the shots and help you feel yourself in front of the camera. En I'm pretty good at that, if I do say so myself ;) With my years of experience and my arsenal of tricks, I'll make sure you feel completely comfortable. Plus, I promise, you'll soon forget about me and my cameras. Pinky promise!
